Workforce Development

We’re proud to be a VOX Host Venue for the Venue Operations eXperience (VOX) — a workforce development program for people interested in careers in live entertainment venues. The 2026 program will focus on Digital Marketing and Live Production (sound and lighting). The program offers education, mentorship and hands-on experience through paid intern hours inside independent venues. Apply HERE by February 22, 2026.

Washington’s is dedicated to advancing the skills and expertise of Colorado-based individuals in live concert operations and production. We aim to increase opportunities associated with sustainable careers in the industry, while continuing to elevate the overall capabilities of the regional scene.

Currently, we are partnering with the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF) to support their Workforce Development Sessions. These sessions are open to all interested individuals; upcoming session info can be found here https://www.nivf.org/virtual-training
