Code of Conduct

Washington’s and The Armory are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and inspiring environments. We embrace diversity and value different backgrounds, perspectives, and views. You can expect to be treated in a professional and courteous manner, and in turn, you are expected to treat everyone with respect. To support these principles and to make your experience a positive one, we ask you to uphold this Code of Conduct.

  • All are entitled to enjoy an experience free from hostile or discriminatory behavior, including sexual harassment of any kind, unwelcome sexual attention, and inappropriate physical contact.
  • Guests agree to be respectful of all other guests, performers, staff, vendors, and property.
  • Guests agree to look out for one another.

Guests will conduct themselves in accordance with this Code of Conduct, directions from staff, and all other rules pertaining to the property. You are responsible for your conduct and the conduct of your guests. Please help maintain these high standards by reporting any concerning behavior. Conduct deemed by venue management to be inappropriate will not be tolerated.

For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Any guest that refuses a search of any kind (either personal or bag) shall be refused entry and may not be eligible for a refund of their ticket purchase. Management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis and may refuse admission to guests violating the venue’s rules.

Prohibited items include:

  • Outside food or beverages
  • Illegal drugs – we have a zero-tolerance policy on the use of illegal substances in the venue
  • Marijuana, cannabis products, paraphernalia or vape pens of any kind.
  • Prescription drugs without a valid prescription and corresponding identification
  • Weapons (including knives, firearms, multi-use pocket tools, pepper spray, stun guns, or other items that could cause harm) or items that could be construed as weapons (including replica weapons)
  • Large backpacks, bags, luggage, or other large items
  • Professional quality audio, photo or video recording equipment
  • Selfie sticks
  • Drones
  • Laser pointers

If you plan on consuming alcohol at Washington’s or The Armory, you must be over 21 and be in possession of a valid ID. If you choose to imbibe, please do so in a safe and responsible manner. Fighting, throwing objects, or other behavior deemed detrimental to the experience of other guests will result in ejection from the venue. Any dangerous or disruptive behavior will be immediately addressed by our staff.

No smoking or use of e-cigarettes is allowed in or around the perimeter of our building.

There is no re-entry allowed at ticketed shows at Washington’s.

Crowd surfing and stage diving are not permitted at the venue.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or to eject anyone who is in violation of our policies or Code of Conduct, without refund.

If you see something that concerns you, please say something to our management or security so we can ensure the best experience possible at our shows. Please report any concerns to the manager on duty; any staff member will be able to assist you with connecting with venue management. If you are unable or do not feel comfortable speaking to someone at the venue, you may also email codeofconduct@washingtonsfoco.com where your concern will be reviewed and addressed.

Ticketing Acknowledgement

In consideration for the opportunity to attend an event, and by entering the event premises, each entrant agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. Entrants must follow all the rules and policies of the event venue, and all posted and/or verbal directions and instructions of our staff, while present on the premises or for entry to the event. Failure to abide by these rules, polices, instructions and directions may result in the removal from the premises and revocation of any ticket or invitation without refund.

Tickets to our events are revocable and cancelable. Tickets may be taken up and admission refused upon refunding the purchase price appearing on the ticket. Individuals admitted to our events, and any minor(s) accompanying an individual, (each an “Attendee” and collectively “Attendees”) voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event, including, but not limited to, contracting, and/or spreading the COVID-19 virus, and each Attendee agrees that our organization and the venue, presenter, agents, participants, and performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries, sickness, or death resulting from such causes. Each Attendee also acknowledges that the COVID-19 pandemic remains a threat to individual and public health, COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease transmitted through human contact and respiratory droplets (including through the air and via common surfaces) and it is possible that an Attendee may contract COVID-19 while at our events.

Are there opportunities to learn more about the music industry at your venue?

YES!

We have a Workforce Development Program that is intended to advance skills in live concert and video production.

Where can I park?

For information on parking structures & streets in Old Town Fort Collins, visit HERE. The Civic Center Parking structure is directly to the south of Washington’s. The Old Town Parking Structure is a block Northwest of The Armory.

Do you have a smoking area?

Washington’s and The Armory are committed to providing guests with a healthy, smoke-free environment. Per the City of Fort Collins ordinance, smoking of any substance, including vapes and e-cigarettes is prohibited. Please also note that we are located within the Downtown Fort Collins Smoke-Free Zone, so smoking outside the venue is also prohibited.

Is your venue all ages?

Please refer to your ticket or individual event listing for age restrictions. If there is an age restriction listed, we will adhere to that strictly and there will be no exceptions or refunds for guests who do not meet the age requirements. If there is no restriction listed, the event is all ages. Every person, regardless of age, needs to have a ticket for venue admittance.

Do you have seating for your shows?

Washington’s is primarily a standing, general admission venue. If a show is seated it will be noted on the ticketing page for the event, otherwise it will be standing. There are a limited number of seats available on our balcony level for guests with disabilities.

The Armory is a seated venue offering a mixture of padded chairs and stools for each paid ticket holder.

Can I rent your venue(s) for my event?

Washington’s and The Armory are not available to rent for private events or parties.

Do you provide accessible accommodations for guests with disabilities?

Washington’s provides various accessible services and accommodations for guests with disabilities including:

  • Reserved accessible seating within the venue.
    • Please note, due to the nature of the venue, accessible seating is limited, and companion seating is at the discretion of Washington’s management.
  • Designated viewing areas within the balcony level for guests utilizing wheelchairs.
  • Stools and high-top bar tables with TV screens for event viewing in the lobby areas.
  • Audio induction loop assistive listening devices compatible with hearing aids and t-coils.
  • An elevator accessible to all levels of the venue.
  • Accessible areas for guests utilizing wheelchairs are available at the bar on both levels.

The Armory provides various accessible services and accommodations for guests with disabilities including:

  • A guaranteed seat or stool for each paid ticket holder.
  • Designated seating areas for guests utilizing wheelchairs and up to one companion.
  • Audio induction loop assistive listening devices compatible with hearing aids and t-coils.

Please contact the Washington’s box office at boxoffice@washingtonsfoco.com in advance for details about accessible accommodations for events at both Washington’s and The Armory. If inquiring upon arrival, please arrive as early as possible and speak to a box office or a guest services representative when entering the building. Please note that any trained service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained throughout the event.

Designated accessible parking for persons with disabilities is available on streets and in parking structures around the venue. Please visit HERE for more info. These spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Can I take photos?

Use of audio or video recording devices, professional cameras or cameras with removable lenses are not permitted during performances. Artist approved photographers or videographers must obtain a media pass by contacting: info@washingtonsfoco.com

Flash photography is never allowed as it disrupts performances.

Do you serve food and drinks?

Washington’s offers a limited selection of pre-packaged snacks and sandwich wraps, as well as coffee and soft drinks, in addition to a full bar selection for the majority of our shows. The Armory offers a limited selection of pre-packaged snacks and sandwich wraps, as well as soft drinks, coffee, beer, wine, and a select variety of canned cocktails for the majority of our shows.

Please note that you must provide a valid government issued ID showing that you are over 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will be treated as under 21 and not allowed to buy, hold, or drink alcohol. This policy is strictly enforced, and any violation will result in immediate ejection from the venue.

Food and Beverage are not permitted inside Washington’s or The Armory at time of admittance and food and beverage purchased within either venue is not permitted to leave the building upon exit.

I bought a ticket that I no longer need, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable upon purchase. If you would like to process a name transfer, please visit (link to the box office FAQs) or contact our box office at boxoffice@washingtonsfoco.com for further details.

What happens if a show I have tickets to is cancelled?

If a show is cancelled, refunds may be obtained from the point of purchase only. If a show is postponed, your ticket will remain valid and we will update you when a new date is confirmed.

I left something at the show last night, do you have it?

Please contact info@washingtonsfoco.com with details of the item you left behind. We will promptly advise if we have it in our lost and found.

How can I book my band at your venues?

Please send your band’s information and a link (not an attachment) to booking@washingtonsfoco.com. Please note that due to the high volume of inquiries, not all submissions will be responded to.

Do you have a COVID venue policy?

There are no current COVID requirements for entry to Washington’s or The Armory. Masks will continue to be available at our venues, and we encourage mask wearing to keep yourself and our community safe.

This policy is subject to change due to local, state or national public health mandates, changes in public health status, or by artist request at any time.

Please note that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By purchasing tickets, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. According to the CDC, COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at preventing COVID-19 disease, especially severe illness and death. COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of people spreading the virus that causes COVID-19.
