Washington’s is a 900-person capacity, general admission music venue located in historic Old Town, Fort Collins. Focused on bringing live contemporary music to the region, Washington’s provides an exceptional space for both musicians and guests. Washington’s is an intimate room with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. A tiered balcony level allows excellent sightlines throughout the room, and two full service bars outside the main room ensure little disruption to performances.
The new music hall has a long Fort Collins history. The formidable sandstone walls originally housed the warehouse portion of the Akin Building, planned by Montezuma Fuller in 1903. The location was home to many businesses through the years, most recently Washington’s Sports Bar and Grill, a business that operated from 1978-2016. We have honored the building’s history by retaining its name (Washington’s) and by incorporating some of the nostalgic artifacts that existed in the space prior to its renovation as a music venue.
Supported by Bohemian Foundation, Washington’s is part of the thriving Fort Collins music ecosystem. The venue complements other Fort Collins area venues and other music projects supported by Bohemian Foundation, including the Armory and Thursday Night Live concerts. With more venue choices and more diverse acts in town, audiences can experience some of the best music in the state without leaving home. Through Bohemian’s Music District, a musician-centric gathering space and educational facility, local artists and production professionals are also finding new opportunities to engage at Washington’s.
Come join us for an amazing music experience at Washington’s.
